“Creating and Building Your Dream Team”

Amanda Danielson – Co-Proprietor Trattoria Stella & The Franklin

Feedback from Attendees

“Energetic, excellent message; proven successful business…Amanda was so enaging and real.  Glad I came…Speaker-Excellent!…Nice job-clear-funny-real…great content”

We had a great turnout and high ratings for our February 10 event with Amanda Danielson, co-proprietor of Trattoria Stella and The Franklin.  Amanda shared examples and practical strategies of how she recruits, develops, selects, and helps refine a team that has helped to earn loyal customers and stellar reveiws for her two Traverse City restaurants. One unexpected strategy she shared was to consider keeping the door open when ex-employees want to come back since they usually bring a higher appreciation of the work environment and have often learned some valuable lessons from their past experience.  She ended by summarizing the three virtues from our featured book “The Ideal Team Player” by Patrick Lencioni; “Look for team members that are humble, hungry and people-smart.”
