Feedback from Attendees

“Real, sincere & very creative leaders”…”Always good quality presenters and interesting!”…”Nice mix of speakers and their relationships to technology and entrepreneurship!.”..”Great presentation today….”I loved the group….”

There was high energy in the room at our June event as attendees were inspired by three speakers who shared interesting and sometime humorous “behind the scenes” stories of how they used innovation to take their business to the next level.   If we could summarize the main theme that led to the success of all three business owners, it would be to listen carefully to what your customers are experiencing as a challenge or problem and use some of your core competencies to come up with unique and creative solutions to solve their problems.  We also learned that innovation is a continuous improvement process that may involve frequently checking in with your customer as you develop a new product or service. Technology in some form or another was also a common thread that helped all three businesses create solutions that helped positively “disrupt” their industry.  We’re proud of what is happening in our local community and are excited to hear about the companies that are impacting markets nationwide – innovations that are happening in the Traverse City region “Right Under Our Noses!”
